Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luis Garces (ranked 4683 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Mount (ranked 3758 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Luis Garces!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Mount!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mount is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Mount stuns Garces with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Garces dives in for a single leg takedown but Mount sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Garces moves forwards but Mount connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mount jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Garces closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Mount lands a jab to Garces's midsection.
That kick from Mount tenderised Garces's leg. Garces is trying to keep his angry face on.
Mount connects with a jab.
Mount cracks Garces with a right hand to the side of the head.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garces wants to clinch.
A little jabbing left from Mount on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Mount lands with a kick to the ribs.
Mount lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Mount.
Garces looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Garces moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Mount connects with the punch.
Jake Mount seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mount looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mount connects with a good right hand that stumbles Garces. Garces circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Mount works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Mount throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Garces.
Garces attempts a counter takedown but Mount avoids it well and moves away.

Mount connects with a good right hand that stumbles Garces. Garces circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Mount pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Garces back to the cage. Mount follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Garces wants to clinch up but Mount keeps it at a distance.
Garces looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Mount lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Garces drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Garces fails with a takedown attempt.
Mount bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Garces's head backwards.
Mount cracks Garces with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Garces fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mount avoids it really well and circles away.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Garces. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Mount dips to his left and cracks Garces with an uppercut!

Mount scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Garces takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Garces looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Mount connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Mount connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Garces momentarily.
Garces shoots for a double leg takedown but Mount sprawls well. He's pushed Garces's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Mount feints a counter leg kick.
Garces takes a shot to the body in his stride.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Mount fakes the leg kick and cracks Garces in the body.
Mount fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mount!
Mount throws a leg kick which misses Garces's front leg but catches the back leg as Garces tries to avoid it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Mount dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mount moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Mount connects with a body shot.

Garces fails to land with a series of punches.
Mount lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Mount lands an overhand right.
Mount lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Garces looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Mount throws a right and a left that both miss.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Garces needs to keep his hands up - Mount had a free shot at his head there.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Garces takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Garces shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Garces is rocked!
Mount thuds a left hand into Garces's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd cheers as Mount lands an impressive looking overhand right. Garces doesn't seem phased though.
A right-left combo lands from Mount.
Mount fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Garces.
Mount cracks a nice hook into Garces's ribs.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Mount!

Mount lands a jab to the head.
Oh Garces is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Garces takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Mount throws a right and a left that Garces avoids nicely.
Garces seems to have got his legs back now.
Mount paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Mount misses with a kick to the body.
Mount throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Garces.

Mount throws a leg kick which misses Garces's front leg but catches the back leg as Garces tries to avoid it.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Garces might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

Garces is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Garces appears to be looking for a big counter.

Mount connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Garces fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Mount, pushing him back against the cage.

Garces escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mount turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Mount misses with a head kick.
It looked like Garces was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Mount scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Garces tries to clinch there but Mount circles away.
Garces stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Mount showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Garces's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Mount stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Garces has taken the fight to the clinch.

Garces tries to pull guard but Mount holds him up against the cage and eventually Garces drops back down to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Garces drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Mount gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Garces's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Garces has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Mount has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Garces takes one on the chin but seems OK.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Garces checks a leg kick.
Garces takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Mount cracks Garces with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Mount stalks Garces and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Garces's face. Garces staggers backwards, shaken.
Mount scores with the left hand. Garces knows he should have avoided that one.
Mount throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Garces stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mount throws a head kick but Garces moves out of range.
Garces takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Mount clobbers Garces with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Mount uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Garces has time to react.

Mount connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Mount goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Jake Mount is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
