Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Rhys Walsh!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Manja Sha!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sha is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walsh.
Walsh appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
Sha misses with a lunging right hand

and Walsh counters with a single leg into guard. Sha didn't expect that.
Sha keeping full guard, as Walsh tries to pass.
Walsh controls from within his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Walsh drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Walsh jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sha looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Walsh trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Walsh lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sha circles away quickly and effectively.
Walsh looks to land a left hand but Sha moved out of range nicely.
Walsh looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


It looks like Rhys Walsh has been cut.
Sha misses with a hook
and Walsh counters with a leg kick.
Walsh doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

Walsh rushes Sha and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Walsh tries to pull guard but Sha holds him up against the cage and eventually Walsh drops back down to his feet.

Sha breaks from the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sha keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Sha lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.


Walsh is rocked!
Sha lands an uppercut, right on the button! Walsh tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Manja Sha!
