Coming up we have a featherweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Peter Smith (ranked 3852 p4p, 344 weight class) and Miguel Machin (ranked 3137 p4p, 303 weight class). Machin is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pandora's Music Box. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Machin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Smith tries to avoid it but Machin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Smith to the ground. Smith escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Smith closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Smith wants the takedown. Machin is fighting it off but Smith persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Machin's guard against the ropes. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Smith (2) vs (0) Machin
Machin wants to sweep here but Smith controlling him for the moment.
Machin not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Machin has Smith pulled in close to control his posture.

Smith looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Machin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Smith is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

Smith drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Smith seems to have locked his on tight now - Machin screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Smith, as he picks up the win!
