Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jackson Kassongo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 12 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hadley Chadwick!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chadwick shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Kassongo napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Kassongo is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Chadwick has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Chadwick lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Chadwick cracks Kassongo with a big elbow.
Chadwick prevents Kassongo from escaping the position.
Kassongo trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Kassongo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kassongo tries to get out of the position.
The ground and pound from Chadwick seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Chadwick creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kassongo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A little jabbing left from Chadwick on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Chadwick dives in and grabs Kassongo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Kassongo pushes down on Chadwick's head and hops out.
Chadwick fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kassongo to the ground. Chadwick is now in Kassongo's guard.

We've been informed that Chadwick has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Kassongo is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Chadwick misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Chadwick is in trouble now - Kassongo has advanced to mount!
Chadwick is desperately trying to improve his position but Kassongo has a good base and remains in mount.

Kassongo lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Chadwick keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Kassongo cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Kassongo lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Chadwick bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Hadley Chadwick dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Kassongo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Chadwick tries to bench press Kassongo off him but Kassongo keeps the position.
