Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Cobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Still (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cobra comes to the cage accompanied by Rooster. King Cobra had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, King Cobra! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Still! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Steve Montenegro and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cobra fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Still sprawls well initially but Cobra persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Still regains full guard. Nicely done. Cobra trying to control but Still is working from the bottom. Still is looking for a triangle but Cobra pushes his legs off easily.
Still has his hands on Cobra's head, controlling the position. Still keeping full guard, as Cobra tries to pass. Still looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Cobra stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Still swivels though and keeps the full guard. Cobra stopping the sweep attempt from Still. Still is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Cobra tries to free his leg and advance position but Still is retaining full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Still thows a body shot but no joy. Cobra scores with a takedown into Still's guard. Still can't keep his opponent in guard - Cobra advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Still on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Cobra is looking for a kimura here.
Still blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cobra. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Still is trying to control but can't.
Cobra is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Still is just riding it out for now. Cobra eventually gives up the hold. Cobra is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Still has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still is trying to get back to full guard. Cobra with the ground and pound but Still uses the opportunity to regain guard. Cobra postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Still is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cobra, into his guard. Still throwing strikes from guard but Cobra blocks nicely. Still wants to pass the guard but Cobra is keeping the position. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Still advances to half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Still looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cobra looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Still is looking to advance position but Cobra won't allow it. Cobra is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Still's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Still's back! Still is trying to break free.
Even with his hooks in, Cobra manages to miss with strikes from the back. Cobra has the hooks in. Still is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Cobra working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Still is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Cobra has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Still taps out!
