The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez fails with an attempt to clinch.
Alibekov looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Perez shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Alibekov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Perez blocks a head kick by Alibekov.
Alibekov swings for the body but Perez moves out of range.

Alibekov clinches up with Perez and pushes him back against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Miguel Perez.
