Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rush Lors (ranked 4025 p4p, 334 weight class) and Arthur Morgan (ranked 4495 p4p, 0 weight class). Lors comes to the cage accompanied by Amazing. Arthur Morgan has the eye of the tiger tonight.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rush Lors! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Arthur Morgan! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lors tries to clinch but Morgan is having none of it. Morgan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Morgan lands in his opponent's guard. Morgan is working Lors over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Morgan sitting in guard here, content to control. Let's hope that Morgan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Morgan with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lors utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Morgan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Morgan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Morgan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. Lors tries to move into range but Morgan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Lors tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Morgan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Good work by Lors as he checks the leg kick. Morgan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Lors sprawls well initially but Morgan persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Morgan is figuring out what he wants to do next. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Morgan. More stalling from Morgan.

It looks like he's just sitting there. Morgan thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Well, if Morgan is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Lors stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Lors wants it to stay on the feet. Rush Lors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Morgan. Morgan thuds his right hand into Lors's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Morgan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lors as he jumps to the side. Lors throws a quick counter head kick but Morgan was just out of range. Morgan will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Lors misses with a body kick. Lors is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Lors gets caught flat footed, as Morgan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Lors is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Morgan connects with a couple of short punches. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Morgan controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Morgan prevents Lors from getting back to his feet. Lors tries to land a sweep but no joy. Lors is trying to keep Morgan in close.
Lors knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Morgan on the ground. Lors working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Morgan. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lors wants to get back to his feet but Morgan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Morgan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Morgan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Morgan content to stall in guard here.

Lors manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Lors crunches a lovely knee into Morgan's ribcage. Morgan takes an elbow to the temple. Lors pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Morgan is working for takedown but Lors is calmly controlling the position for now. Lors with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Morgan is trying to force a seperation but Lors has the dominant position. Morgan is trying to break free. Lors misses with an elbow strike.

Lors is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Rush Lors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arthur Morgan.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Lors throws an elbow but it's blocked.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Rush Lors has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Morgan working the ground and pound but Lors is defending the strikes. Morgan misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

He's shot a load of snot all down Lors's shoulder. That is not cool. Arthur Morgan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
