The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lazebnov tries to close the distance and clinch but Winkle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Winkle shoots in but no luck this time.
Lazebnov defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Winkle.
Lazebnov works over Winkle's head and body with a nice combination.
Lazebnov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Winkle swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Winkle darts in looking for a takedown but Lazebnov gets double underhooks and turns Winkle into the cage.
Anton Lazebnov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peeta Winkle.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Winkle wants to improve his position but Lazebnov is controlling well.
Lazebnov slips a nice elbow through Winkle's hands, connecting with Winkle's forehead.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lazebnov is on top in guard.
