Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Vidal (ranked 1430 p4p, 200 weight class) and Douglas Dannis (ranked 3377 p4p, 414 weight class). Vidal's entrance music is Scarface OST - The world is yours. A fine choice. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Vidal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Douglas Dannis!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vidal looks to throw the jab but Dannis is out of range.
Dannis bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Dannis displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Vidal throws out the jab.
Dannis fails with the takedown.
Dannis uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Vidal.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A big right from Vidal misses.
Dannis throws out a counter right but Vidal avoids it with no problem.
Vidal misses with a looping right.
Vidal throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Dannis colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Vidal as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Dannis is left battered and dazed whilst Vidal and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jorge Vidal!
Our winner, Jorge Vidal, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
The defeated Douglas Dannis had this to say: 'That was a tough cat, mad respect. I'll be back stronger y'all '.
