PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nick Stack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stack has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Tim Buckner has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Nick Stack!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buckner gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Stack gets caught flat footed, as Buckner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stack looks gassed!

Stack escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Buckner gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Buckner stands up and waves to Stack to follow him.

Buckner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Stack chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Buckner can pounce on him.

Stack is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Buckner is just riding it out for now. Stack eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tim Buckner will probably get the nod.
