Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronnie Bass (ranked 3009 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Masvidal (ranked 6221 p4p, 0 weight class). Bass's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Even Flow. Masvidal is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Scarface. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ronnie Bass!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jon Masvidal!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masvidal tries a head kick but it misses.
We've been told by Bass's head coaches at Dark Horse MMA (HBE) that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Bass throws a lazy right hand but Masvidal sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Masvidal fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Bass looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Masvidal gets a clinch.
Masvidal looks to throw an elbow but misses.
A short uppercut from Bass.

It looks like Jon Masvidal has been cut.
Bass misses with some punches.
Masvidal told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Masvidal is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Bass is defending well for now.
Masvidal tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Bass lands a right hand.
Masvidal throws a head punch that misses.
Masvidal misses with the head strike.

Bass breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bass moves into the clinch.

Bass pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bass throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Masvidal sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Bass cracks Masvidal with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bass has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Masvidal to stand back up!

Masvidal is rocked!
Masvidal walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Bass! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!
