Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Rose (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Davis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rancid-Last one to Die kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Rose.
Rose tries for a takedown but Davis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Rose throws a right and a left that Davis avoids nicely.
Rose throws a series of punches but Davis avoids them all with ease.
Rose will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Davis stuffs the takedown attempt from Rose. Rose gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Daniel Rose. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Rose is trying to stand up here but Davis is controlling him well.
Davis looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Davis is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Davis works his foot free and advances to mount.

Davis is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Rose is surviving well by controlling Davis's body position as best he can.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rose wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.

Davis working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Rose is doing well to defend. Davis seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Rose is forced to tap and this one is over!
