Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chosu Viv (ranked 1288 p4p, 151 weight class) and Marcus Aurelius (ranked 2590 p4p, 259 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurelius scores with a nice head shot.
Viv bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Viv decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Viv moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Aurelius changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Viv looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Aurelius working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Aurelius is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Viv is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Aurelius is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Viv knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Viv manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Aurelius pushes Viv off looking to stand but Viv dives back in and keeps control.
Viv is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aurelius is just riding it out for now. Viv eventually gives up the hold.

That was a close round but I would say that Chosu Viv will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Aurelius closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Viv's guard.
Aurelius wanted to stand there but Viv had control of the position.
Aurelius drops back looking for a leg! Viv is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Viv manages to kick Aurelius off! Aurelius jumps back into Viv's guard.

Aurelius has gone for a leg lock! Viv slips out almost immediately though and dives into Aurelius's guard.
Viv not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Aurelius is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Viv connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Aurelius wants to lay and pray for a moment but Viv keeps working.

Aurelius wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Viv, who protects the arm well.
Aurelius is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Viv looks calm but he's in trouble here. Aurelius gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Viv is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Aurelius lets go of the hold and Viv can pop his arm back in it's socket.
