PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Send you in a Skirt. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Johnny White!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Emelianenko!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Emelianenko pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
White stuffs the takedown attempt from Emelianenko. Emelianenko gets slowly back to his feet.
Emelianenko shoots in looking for a takedown. White tries to sprawl out of it but Emelianenko keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. White manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Johnny White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fedor Emelianenko.
White lands a head kick. Emelianenko smiles back at him and beckons him forward.


It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.

White drives through and clinches with Emelianenko against the cage.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

White changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Emelianenko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

White changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Emelianenko tries to avoid it but White manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Emelianenko to the ground. Emelianenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well White has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
