Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cung Wo Par (ranked 4270 p4p, 374 weight class) and Joe Hooks (ranked 3382 p4p, 310 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Cung Wo Par! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Hooks! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Par slips a jab from Hooks. Joe Hooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hooks thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Par if he has to take too many more of those.
Par misses with an uppercut. Hooks staying out of range there. Hooks just misses with a punch to the body.
Par shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Par lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
The fight moves into the clinch position. Hooks throws a head punch that misses. Hooks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Par looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Par gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hooks slips under a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hooks takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hooks clinches up against the cage. Hooks breaks from the clinch.
Par takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Par throws a one two combo.
Hooks is rocked!
It looks like Joe Hooks has been cut. Hooks showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Par.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hooks tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Hooks displaying some good clinch control by pressing Par up against the cage. Hooks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Oooooh!!! Par has knocked Hooks down with a huge combo! Par steps away and waves a wobbly Hooks back to his feet! This one might not go much longer! Hooks is still on wobbly legs! Can Par finish him? Par throws a nice looking combination but Hooks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hooks only half commits to the counter leg kick. Par blocks a jab. and Par counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Hooks! He's just covering up as Par starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cung Wo Par! Cung Wo Par seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
