Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Randy Dandy (ranked 7051 p4p, 598 weight class) and Julio Prezado (ranked 5716 p4p, 526 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Randy Dandy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Julio Prezado!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dandy throws a push kick but Prezado slaps the foot to one side.
It seemed like Prezado was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Prezado should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Prezado avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Dandy has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Prezado.

Prezado has managed to clinch.

Dandy successfully pulls guard.
Dandy is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Prezado throws a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Prezado stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dandy swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Dandy working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Prezado.

Prezado drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dandy manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Prezado has Dandy in his guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Prezado is pulling down on Dandy's head. It's preventing any offense from Dandy, at least for the moment.
Prezado is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dandy keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Prezado thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dandy's head.
Prezado works his way into side control.
Dandy avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Prezado.

Prezado has hold of Dandy's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Dandy tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Prezado cranks the arm and Dandy screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Dandy, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
