Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abner Hill (ranked 6303 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alejandro Lozano (ranked 24126 p4p, 0 weight class). Alejandro Lozano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abner Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alejandro Lozano!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lozano thows a left - swing and a miss!
Lozano waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hill.
Lozano misses with a hook. Hill ducked under it nicely.
Hill seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Hill on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Hill gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Lozano escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Hill lands with a nice combination. Lozano backs away looking to recover.
Lozano takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Hill drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hill tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Lozano is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Hill stands up.
Hill moves into range and clinches up with Lozano.
Lozano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hill moves out of range as Lozano strikes.
Hill stuns Lozano with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Lozano misses with a two punch combination.
Hill lands a head kick!
Hill throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Lozano tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hill is in Lozano's guard.
Lozano has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Hill is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hill breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Alejandro Lozano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lozano takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lozano misses with an uppercut. Hill saw that one coming.
Lozano throws a nice looking combination but Hill bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Hill scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Lozano rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hill moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Hill seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Hill lands a head kick. Lozano smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Hill clinches with his opponent.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lozano breaks from the clinch.
Lozano chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Hill can pounce on him.
Hill throws a nice outside leg kick.
Hill connects with a high kick.
Lozano misses with a jab, cross combination.
Hill scoring well with a low kick there.
Hill feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lozano's calf.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but Lozano shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
It seemed like Lozano was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Hill throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Lozano's waist but Lozano gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hill off to one side.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A head kick misses from Hill.
Hill dives in and scores a takedown into Lozano's guard.
Lozano wants to stand and escape but Hill is having none of it.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lozano is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Hill wants to take the fight to the mat but Lozano manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Abner Hill. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hill has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Lozano after a bit of a struggle.
Lozano manages to break the clinch.
Lozano stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Hill.
Hill throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Hill shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Hill changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lozano looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lozano throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Alejandro Lozano is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Hill is breathing heavily.
Hill throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A jab from Lozano misses.
Hill throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hill slips under a jab.
Lozano throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Hill colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Lozano as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Hill is left battered and dazed whilst Lozano and his camp cheer!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Alejandro Lozano!
