Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyson Cover (ranked 4794 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Jackson (ranked 6154 p4p, 0 weight class). Cover comes into the arena with Wu-Tang Clan - Protect Ya Neck (The Jump Off) blaring out of the sound system. Randy Jackson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cover tries to clinch
and Jackson counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Jackson fails to land with a series of punches.
Cover rushes Jackson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Cover breaks from the clinch.
Cover could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Cover goes for a double leg but Jackson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jackson continues to drive forward.
Jackson lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson . No joy for Cover on that attempt.
Jackson punishes Cover's body with a nice straight punch.
Cover gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Cover manages to break the clinch.
Cover doesn't manage to clinch there - Jackson circles away.
A little jabbing left from Jackson on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jackson slaps away a takedown attempt from Cover, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tyson Cover. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Cover has a takedown stuffed.
Jackson lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cover has time to react.

Cover rushes Jackson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cover throws a punch but it's blocked by Jackson .
Cover prevents a body shot from Jackson .
Cover softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Cover breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Cover gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jackson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Jackson feints a jab promting Cover to slip. Jackson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cover slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Cover wants to clinch up but Jackson keeps it at a distance.
Jackson throws out a counter right but Cover avoids it with no problem.
Cover tries to clinch but Jackson moves out of range.
Jackson swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Good leg kick by Cover there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Jackson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Nice uppercut lands for Jackson . That snapped Cover's head back.
Cover closes the distance but Jackson moves to the side
and Cover takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Randy Jackson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

and Jackson counters with a two punch combo.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Jackson throws a combination. Cover tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Jackson lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Jackson .
Cover closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Jackson out cold! Jackson corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
