The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hajime with a poor takedown
and Haze counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Haze connects with a body shot that sends Hajime's belly button to the back.
Hajime tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Hajime misses with a wild body shot.
Hajime takes one to the side of the head.
Hajime looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nice takedown defense from Haze. No joy for Hajime on that attempt.
Drizzy Haze has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ippo Hajime.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haze's corner calls for a 1-2. Haze obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Hajime moves in looking to clinch but Haze pushes him off.

Hajime tries to clinch there but Haze circles away.
Haze takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Haze fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hajime on the side of the head.

Hajime goes for a double leg but Haze avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Haze continues to drive forward.

and Haze counters with a stiff right hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Haze swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Hajime shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Haze counters with a nice body shot.
Haze scores with a punch to the head.

Hajime gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Haze.
Nice uppercut there from Haze.

Hajime is rocked!
Haze walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Hajime drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Haze swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Hajime's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
