With a record of 33 - 27 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Cliff Rigano!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rigano throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Weight counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Rigano fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Weight swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Welter Weight has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cliff Rigano.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rigano tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Weight swivels and escapes.
Weight checks the leg kick nicely there.
Weight was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Rigano looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Weight is fending him off so far but Rigano persists. Nope, Weight circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd cheers as Rigano lands an impressive looking overhand right. Weight doesn't seem phased though.
Rigano shoots for a takedown but Weight saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Weight has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
