Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seemah Feet (ranked 6018 p4p, 583 weight class) and Nate Gracie (ranked 24845 p4p, 719 weight class). Feet comes into the arena with Footsteps (Go Higher) blaring out of the sound system. Nate Gracie told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nate Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Steve Smith and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a looping left.
Gracie takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Feet throws a jab but it's blocked by Gracie.
Gracie is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Gracie catches Feet with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Feet dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Gracie. That did some damage!

Gracie takes the fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Feet has Gracie pressed against the cage, preventing Gracie from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Gracie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

I was talking to Feet's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Gracie has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Feet is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gracie told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight.
Feet works on Gracie's body with a couple of short punches.
Feet lands on the inside with an uppercut.
It looks like Nate Gracie has been cut.

Feet lands a left hand.
Feet lands a nice shot to the body.
Gracie looks winded!
Feet lands a left hand that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.
Feet breaks the clinch.
Feet fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Gracie has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gracie takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That kick from Feet tenderised Gracie's leg. Gracie is trying to keep his angry face on.
Gracie tests Feet's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A jab from Feet does it's job there.
Gracie misses with a hook. Feet ducked under it nicely.

Seemah Feet is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Feet throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Feet lands with a hook. Gracie tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Feet lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Feet rushes Gracie and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Feet lands an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Feet creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

A short body shot lands from Feet as the two fighters clinch.
Feet scores with a shot to the side of Gracie's head.
Feet lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Gracie backwards.
Gracie swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Feet blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Feet breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Feet lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gracie's sensitive parts.
Feet lands a leg kick that knocks Gracie off balance momentarily.
Seemah Feet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gracie tries to close the distance and clinch up but Feet swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Nice shot by Feet.
Feet circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Gracie drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Feet follows Gracie to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Seemah Feet!
Seemah Feet tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
