Gracie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Jiu Jitsu: Vai Finaliza! kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 4 losses; Ramon Gracie! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
Let's get this grappling contest under way! Who will be victorious? Gracie shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Arias napping and manages to drive through into side control! Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Arias (0) vs (4) Gracie Gracie looking to control but instead Arias has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Arias tries to roll over but Gracie keeps him under control. Arias works his way to full guard. Good work. Arias tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Arias looking to control.
Gracie wants to control from the top but Arias keeps moving. Arias trying to keep a closed guard but Gracie is proving a slippery customer.
Arias pushes a forearm under Gracie's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Gracie is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
