Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cerberus Dionisy (ranked 3017 p4p, 388 weight class) and Vaai Finau (ranked 2308 p4p, 298 weight class). Dionisy comes to the cage accompanied by Voodoo. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Vaai Finau enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vaai Finau!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Paulsen Ambrosius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Finau drives through with a takedown into guard.
Dionisy is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Finau accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Finau trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Finau wants to pass the guard but Dionisy is keeping the position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Finau has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Finau throws a lazy right hand but Dionisy sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Dionisy bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Finau's head backwards.
It looks like Vaai Finau has been cut.

Dionisy throws an overhand right that lands on Finau's shoulder, as Finau tries to avoid the shot.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Finau, as that shot connected.

and Dionisy counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Finau thinking.
Dionisy throws a chopping leg kick but Finau manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Finau shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dionisy as he avoids it easily.
Finau throws the left hand but Dionisy avoids the punch easily.
Finau shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dionisy pinned against the cage. Dionisy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Finau moves out of range of the body kick from Dionisy.

Dionisy takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Finau darts in and clinches Dionisy up against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dionisy was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
