Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Kristian Galeos (ranked 1432 p4p, 167 weight class) and John Michael Benitoy (ranked 1752 p4p, 196 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Kyle Kristian Galeos has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kyle Kristian Galeos seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Saam Ante and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benitoy shoots and misses
and Galeos counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Benitoy forces Galeos back against the cage and clinches.
Galeos breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Benitoy fails with the takedown
and Galeos counters with a lovely straight right hand!

and Galeos counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Galeos has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Benitoy shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Galeos as he jumps to the side.

Galeos lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Benitoy tries to clinch
and Galeos counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Galeos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Galeos is pawing at Benitoy, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Benitoy's nose. Benitoy is badly hurt! Galeos pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Benitoy tries desperately to hold on but Galeos is relentless in his assault! As Benitoy receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Galeos away and this one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kyle Kristian Galeos!
Kyle Kristian Galeos tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
