Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Ruslan Karelin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Phil Coleman!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Fujiwara.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Coleman ducks under a wild hook from Karelin.
Coleman lands a nice hook to Karelin's body. Karelin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Coleman lands with a cross.
Karelin takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Coleman throws a big shot that misses.
Coleman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Karelin manages to avoid it.
Karelin lands with a shot to the body.
Karelin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Coleman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Coleman swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Coleman throws a right and a left that both miss.
Karelin attempts a counter takedown but Coleman avoids it well and moves away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Karelin.
Karelin shoots in looking for a takedown. Coleman tries to sprawl out of it but Karelin keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Coleman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Coleman displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Karelin throws out the jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Karelin has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Coleman is fighting to break Karelin's control of his arms but Karelin is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

That was a close round but I would say that Ruslan Karelin will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Coleman's coach down at Xtramarital Floating Shingles was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Coleman's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:19 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ruslan Karelin!
A less than humble Ruslan Karelin misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
