The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Meiser.
Curry looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
A combination from Meiser does no damage.
Curry is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Meiser drives through and clinches with Curry against the cage.
Meiser stalls.
Meiser manages to pull guard.
Meiser manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Curry manages to get himself to full guard.

Meiser shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Curry sprawls well. Curry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Meiser gets slowly back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Curry seems a little lost for a moment, as Meiser dominates the positioning.
Meiser's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Meiser moves into the clinch successfully.
Meiser has hold of one of Curry's legs. Curry is fighting the takedown attempt but Meiser gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
Curry is looking to stand back up but Meiser counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Curry.

Curry is breathing heavily.
Meiser is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Curry has managed to free his arm - good work.
Meiser is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Curry defends it well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Meiser decides to stand up, so the ref orders Curry to his feet.
Meiser misses with a low kick as Curry jumps back.
Meiser darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Meiser is nestled in close to Curry, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Meiser seems to be working for a kimura but Curry defends the submission attempt.

Curry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Meiser. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Meiser takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Meiser stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.
Meiser fails with the takedown.
Curry drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Meiser defends it well.
Meiser moves into the clinch successfully.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Meiser jumps into guard, dragging Curry to the mat.
Curry wanted to stand there but Meiser had control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Meiser changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Curry tries to avoid it but Meiser manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Curry to the ground. Curry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Meiser closes the distance and clinches up with Curry, looking for a takedown. Meiser pushes Curry against the cage but Curry circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Meiser feints and as Curry raises his hands in defense, Meiser changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hans Meiser overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Meiser is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Meiser passes into half guard.
Meiser decides to stand up.

Curry is fighting off a takedown attempt but Meiser is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Curry to the mat. Curry regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Meiser pulls Curry in close to his closed guard and prevents Curry from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Meiser is on top in guard.

Meiser manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Curry on his heels. He'll look to pass Curry's guard now, I'm sure.

Meiser takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
