Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Of Legend (ranked 4590 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kieran Liayra (ranked 4244 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Of Legend tries to clinch up.
Of Legend wants to clinch up but Liayra keeps it at a distance.
Liayra with the counter takedown but Of Legend avoids it easily.
Of Legend will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Liayra stuffs the takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Liayra has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Of Legend lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

and Liayra counters with a single leg into guard. Of Legend didn't expect that.
Of Legend keeping moving, preventing Liayra from controlling successfully.
Of Legend wants to get back to his feet but Liayra is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Of Legend looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Liayra trying to control the position from guard on top but Of Legend is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Liayra must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Of Legend is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Liayra is aware though and is defending well.

Liayra decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Liayra changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Of Legend tries to avoid it but Liayra manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Of Legend to the ground. Of Legend escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Of Legend shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Liayra as he jumps to the side.

Of Legend lands with a nice body kick.

Of Legend fails to land with a series of punches.
And Liayra tries to counter it with a takedown but Of Legend pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Liayra leaves Of Legend with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bob Of Legend. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Liayra shoots in looking for a takedown. Of Legend tries to sprawl out of it but Liayra keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Of Legend manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck for Of Legend with that takedown attempt.
Of Legend misses with the body kick

and Liayra counters with a single leg into guard. Of Legend didn't expect that.

Of Legend has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Liayra has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Liayra can't get the takedown.

Liayra has hold of one of Of Legend's legs. Of Legend is fighting the takedown attempt but Liayra gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Of Legend looking for a triangle here. Liayra is fighting it but it looks tight! Of Legend pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Liayra is tapping out - this one is all over!
