Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Emelyanov (ranked 2509 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zhoujiangcuo Wong (ranked 4106 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhoujiangcuo Wong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Vladimir Emelyanov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 12 - 1, fighting out of New York, Zhoujiangcuo Wong! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wong drops Emelyanov with a right and a left! Wong comes rushing in but Emelyanov regains his composure and manages to keep Wong in guard.
Emelyanov is rocked! Emelyanov looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Emelyanov bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Wong's guard.
Oh Emelyanov is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Emelyanov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wong has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Emelyanov has managed to get both his arms back between Wong's legs - danger averted. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Emelyanov engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Emelyanov trying to control the position from guard on top but Wong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Emelyanov seems to have got his legs back now.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Wong is trying to get back to his feet. Emelyanov wants to control but Wong is keeping him busy. Emelyanov controlling the position. Emelyanov looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Emelyanov stands up and beckons Wong to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A head kick lands from Wong that sends Emelyanov to the canvas. Emelyanov tries to scramble back to his feet but Wong brings him back down into side control. Emelyanov will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Emelyanov is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Wong. Emelyanov drives through and clinches with Wong against the cage.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Emelyanov prevents Wong from breaking the clinch. Emelyanov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wong tries a head kick but it misses.

Zhoujiangcuo Wong dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Wong has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Emelyanov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Emelyanov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wong's waist but Wong gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Emelyanov off to one side. Wong lands with a slapping head kick. Wong throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Zhoujiangcuo Wong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Emelyanov takes a kick to the side of the head. Emelyanov closes the distance and pushes Wong back into the cage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Emelyanov breaks from the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Emelyanov has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Wong has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Wong wanted to stand there but Emelyanov had control of the position. Emelyanov manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wong manages to get himself to full guard.
Emelyanov wants to control from the top but Wong keeps moving. Emelyanov is really struggling to control Wong but he's trying to hold on to the position. Wong is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Emelyanov is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Emelyanov passes Wong's left leg - he's now in half guard. Wong keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Emelyanov content to control rather than advance. Emelyanov throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Wong to regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wong keeping moving, preventing Emelyanov from controlling successfully. Wong is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Emelyanov content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Wong has locked up a guillotine! Wong's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Emelyanov is holding on here and Wong must be using up a lot of energy. Emelyanov has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Wong gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
