The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Van Wassenberg shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wisse is trying to defend but Van Wassenberg finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Wisse tries to kick Van Wassenberg off in order to stand up. Van Wassenberg Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Van Wassenberg passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Wisse!
Wisse really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Van Wassenberg. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
