Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Williams (ranked 5313 p4p, 0 weight class) and Newman Fleek (ranked 5337 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Michael Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Newman Fleek! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Williams looks to score with a jab to the body but Fleek is just out of range. Fleek shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily. Fleek will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Williams rushes Fleek and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fleek tries to stall but Williams uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Fleek is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Williams to keep the fight standing. Michael Williams has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Newman Fleek. Williams avoiding damage as Fleek throws knees to the body.

Fleek jumps guard but Williams turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Williams misses with an elbow over the top. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fleek regains guard immediately. Fleek looking for a sweep. Not yet Fleek, not yet. Fleek escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Williams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Williams throwing strikes from guard but Fleek blocks nicely. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fleek is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Williams is aware though and is defending well. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Fleek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Fleek avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Williams drops back, looking for a kneebar! Fleek looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Fleek looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Fleek! Williams is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Fleek off and has taken his back! Williams just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams tries to get the hooks in deep but Fleek pushed the leg off. A bit of a pause in the action here. Williams controlling the positon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fleek staying busy and making it hard for Williams to control. Williams has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. Fleek is really stuck here.
Fleek prevents Williams from getting a body triangle. Williams controls the action. Fleek looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Williams punches Fleek on the ear. Williams looking to finish the fight with a rear naked choke. Fleek is controlling Williams 's left arm and he spins nicely into guard. Williams wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Williams looking to control but Fleek passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Williams dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Fleek closes the distance and clinches. Williams drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Williams decides to pull guard. Fleek postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Fleek trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom. Fleek really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams wants to get back to his feet but Fleek is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Williams is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fleek defends well. Michael Williams overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Fleek trying to stand up but can't free himself from Williams's guard. Williams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Williams tries to get out of the position. Fleek tries to free his leg and advance position but Williams is retaining full guard.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Williams drives through with a takedown into guard. Williams would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Fleek keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fleek looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Fleek trying to keep a closed guard but Williams is proving a slippery customer.
Williams missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Williams trying to control the position from guard on top but Fleek is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fleek trying to control the position.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Williams tries to clinch but Fleek is having none of it. Fleek shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Williams as he avoids it easily. Williams defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fleek. Williams shoots in and gets a takedown into Fleek's guard. Fleek is trying to control the position but Williams postures up. Fleek looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Williams passes into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams takes a little break here. Fleek wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Williams wants to stand but Fleek is controlling his arm. Williams working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Williams taking a breather here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Williams dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Fleek shoots in looking for a takedown. Williams tries to sprawl out of it but Fleek keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Williams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Fleek tries to close the distance and clinch but Williams swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Williams is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Fleek. Williams swats away the attempt to clinch by Fleek. Williams wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. A momentary lapse in concentration from Fleek enables Williams to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fleek manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Williams wanted to stand there but Fleek had control of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams trying to control but Fleek is working from the bottom. Fleek thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams slips nicely into half guard. Fleek tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Fleek wants to sweep but Williams has passed to side control! Williams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fleek, who protects the arm well. Fleek is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fleek is trying to control Williams's posture but Williams avoids it. Williams tries to advance to mount but Fleek denies him. Fleek is trying to improve his position. Williams tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. You can see the frustration on Fleek's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Williams throws a head kick that misses. As Williams backs off Fleek throws a huge counter combo but Williams manages to avoid it all. Williams is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Fleek can do to turn this around? The fight stays on the outside here - Fleek looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Fleek fails with a takedown attempt. Williams is looking to counter with a body kick. Williams feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Williams pushes down on Fleek's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fleek is staying active underneath Williams, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Williams perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Williams prevents Fleek from standing back up.
Williams throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Williams takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Still in half guard, Williams seems content to control. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fleek is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Williams wants to control but Fleek is keeping him busy.
And that's the end of the fight! Michael Williams showed his dominance in that final round. Well Williams has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
