Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Rob Ford (ranked 4124 p4p, 113 weight class) and Juanito Cortez (ranked 2401 p4p, 70 weight class). Cortez has chosen $$$ as his entrance music. Ford has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Juanito Cortez is staring across the ring at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

28 - 24 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Juanito Cortez!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cortez scoring well with a low kick there.
Ford checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ford tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Cortez manages to circle out of the way.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Ford takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ford is breathing heavily.
Ford slips a straight right by Cortez.
Cortez throws a leg kick but Ford checks it.
Cortez scores with a shot to the body.
Cortez scores with a jab and follows up with an uppercut that drops Ford to his knees! He bounces straight back to his feet but is forced to take the mandatory standing 8 count before he's allowed to continue. We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Ford is rocked!
It looks like Rob Ford has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Cortez engages and cracks Ford with a massive lead left hook - Ford tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Cortez is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Juanito Cortez!
After winning the bout, Juanito Cortez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
