Olondo works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Olondo takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Akabusi is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Olondo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Olondo shrugs it off.

Olondo is working an open guard so Akabusi takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Akabusi shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Olondo pinned against the cage. Olondo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Akabusi looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Olondo drops Akabusi with a beautiful combination! Akabusi stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Olondo is looking for the KO!

Olondo drops Akabusi with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Akabusi looks back up at him and smiles so Olondo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Olondo, as that shot connected.
Olondo throws a right hand that Akabusi ducks under and follows up with a left that Akabusi also avoids with ease.
Akabusi dives in and scores a takedown into Olondo's guard.
Akabusi gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Dimitri Olondo seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Akabusi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Olondo connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Akabusi to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Olondo!
