Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Rangel Titykov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Regino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Rangel Titykov has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rangel Titykov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jimmy Regino! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Titykov throws a right and a left that both miss. Titykov throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Regino darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Regino throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Regino content to control rather than advance. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Titykov is not content to let Regino control the position. Regino is working for a kimura but Titykov is defending it quite comfortably.
Regino lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Regino looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Regino throwing shots but Titykov is blocking nicely. Titykov is trying to stand.
Regino wants to free his trapped foot but Titykov is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Titykov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Some wild striking there from Titykov.
Titykov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Titykov swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Regino looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Regino is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Regino thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Titykov gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Regino is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Regino is looking to advance position but Titykov won't allow it. Regino looks gassed! Titykov looks like he's trying to stand up.
Regino seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Titykov does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Titykov misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Regino wants to lay and pray for a moment but Titykov keeps working.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Regino dodges the punch combination from Titykov.
Titykov throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Regino shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Titykov's guard. Titykov can't keep his opponent in guard - Regino advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Regino is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Titykov defends it well. Titykov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Regino on the ground. Regino takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Regino looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Titykov flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Regino is trying to control. Titykov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Titykov tries to kick Regino off but Regino keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Regino seems to be looking for submissions.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Regino showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Titykov.
Titykov moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Regino shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Titykov is in trouble now - Regino has advanced to mount! Titykov is in a horrible position here. Regino smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jimmy Regino dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Titykov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Titykov misses with a double jab.
Regino bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Titykov is not content to let Regino control the position. Regino blocks the strikes from Titykov.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Regino thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Titykov is looking for a sweep.
That's one minute gone in the round. Regino has hold of Titykov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Titykov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Regino cranks the arm and Titykov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Titykov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jimmy Regino!
