Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Don Johns!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chief Shadow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shadow misses with a takedown attempt
and Johns counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Shadow thinking.
Shadow tries for a takedown but Johns circles away easily
and Johns counters with a nice body shot.
Shadow doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Johns counters with a nice body shot.
Don Johns has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chief Shadow.

Johns darts in and clinches Shadow up against the cage.
Shadow tries for a takedown but Johns manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shadow is looking to take this one to the mat.
Shadow has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Johns is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Johns has Shadow pressed against the cage, preventing Shadow from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Shadow drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Johns gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Johns presses Shadow against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Shadow tries for a takedown. No joy.
A frustrated look appears on Shadow's face as he tries to break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Johns breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shadow fails with the takedown
and Johns makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Shadow throws an off balance right hand
and Johns counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Johns lands a glancing blow to the side of Shadow's head.
Shadow misses with a takedown
and Johns counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Johns connects with a nice cross there... Shadow is looking wobbly and Johns recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Shadow to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Johns jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
