Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward Folayang (ranked 4503 p4p, 501 weight class) and Fabinho Tavares (ranked 2743 p4p, 357 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Folayang might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Goodnight. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Fabinho Tavares was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Tavares has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Folayang is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Folayang wants to slow Tavares down by chopping away at his legs.

Folayang is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

It looks like Folayang has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Folayang lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tavares has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tavares and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Folayang is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tavares fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Folayang.

A relieved looking Edward Folayang thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
