Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remang Rtyaer (ranked 24076 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thug Bones (ranked 5272 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bones's choice of entrance music: Can't Be Touched. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Remang Rtyaer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Thug Bones!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Roger Salmon and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bones scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Rtyaer looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Bones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Rtyaer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Rtyaer definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
You can see the frustration on Rtyaer's face as Bones controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Rtyaer went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Rtyaer gets tackled into the cage by Bones. Bones maintains the clinch.
Bones is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rtyaer pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Bones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rtyaer is proving hard to escape from.

Rtyaer bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bones's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Bones can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rtyaer can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bones feints a jab promting Rtyaer to slip. Bones then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rtyaer slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Bones throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Rtyaer was covering up waiting for the punch and Bones finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Rtyaer scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Bones shoots for a double leg takedown but Rtyaer sprawls well. He's pushed Bones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rtyaer fires out a quick counter leg kick but Bones just manages to avoid it.
Remang Rtyaer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Thug Bones.

Bones dips to his left and cracks Rtyaer with an uppercut!

Bones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rtyaer takes a shot to the head.

Bones looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rtyaer is fending him off so far but Bones persists. Nope, Rtyaer circles away and we're back to standing.

Bones shoots for a double leg takedown but Rtyaer sprawls well. He's pushed Bones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Bones drives through with a takedown into Rtyaer's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Bones tries to free his leg and advance position but Rtyaer is retaining full guard.
Rtyaer is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Bones wants to get up but he can't break Rtyaer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rtyaer throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Thug Bones is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Bones throws an elbow that misses. Rtyaer uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bones's guard. Nice move by Rtyaer!

Bones lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Remang Rtyaer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Bones is looking to work some ground and pound but Rtyaer has wrist control.

Thug Bones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

After the fight, Thug Bones was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
