Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Matt Cruz (ranked 5623 p4p, 524 weight class) and Jure Jez (ranked 2900 p4p, 339 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jez is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Cruz's half guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Cruz has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Jez doesn't defend quickly enough and Cruz has managed to lock this one up! Can Jez escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Cruz on a fantastic submission victory.
