Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sly Dauph (ranked 4426 p4p, 436 weight class) and Derick Muise (ranked 5313 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Robert Douchet and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dauph throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Muise's waist but Muise gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dauph off to one side.
Dauph sets himself, and Muise steps forward looking for the clinch! Dauph avoids it this time.
Dauph takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
A chopping leg kick lands by Dauph.
Dauph shoots in for a takedown but Muise shows good takedown defense.
Muise moves out of range of the body kick from Dauph.
Muise wants to counter with a clinch but Dauph pushes him away.
Donk. Muise catches Dauph right on the button with a cross.
Muise stuffs the takedown.
Muise is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sly Dauph. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dauph fails to land the takedown.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dauph takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Dauph has his takedown stuffed
and Muise holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Muise.
Dauph can't get the takedown.
Dauph wants to take the fight to the mat but Muise manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Dauph is breathing heavily.
Dauph looking to stall.
Dauph tries to pull guard but Muise forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Muise lands with a light punch inside.
Dauph tries to throw a body punch but Muise avoids it by throwing Dauph back against the cage.
Muise lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dauph backwards.
Muise lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Muise scores with a shot to the side of Dauph's head.
Muise lands an uppercut.
Muise scores with a nice hook to the head.
Muise stalling in the clinch.
A short right from Muise on the inside.
Dauph is rocked!
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Muise lands a left hand that snaps the head of Dauph backwards.
Oh Dauph is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Muise lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Dauph is pressed against the cage. Muise pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Dauph! Two more big strikes from Muise and Dauph crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
