Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Ripper (ranked 4284 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Jojo Jr (ranked 7583 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Ripper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bob Jojo Jr ! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ripper shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jojo Jr is trying to defend but Ripper finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Ripper looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jojo Jr trying to control from the bottom.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripper winds up and cracks Jojo Jr with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Ripper tries to stand but can't do so whilst Jojo Jr controls his leg. Ripper lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ripper trying to control the pace. Ripper works his foot free and advances to mount. The referee warns Jojo Jr that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jojo Jr is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Ripper controlling his opponent. Jojo Jr tries to hold on but Ripper postures up. Ripper landing shots from mount. Ripper controlling from mount. Ripper is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Jojo Jr can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ripper seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jojo Jr for as long as he can get away with. The referee warns Jojo Jr that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Jojo Jr is trying to get back to full guard. Jojo Jr looks winded! Ripper seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Ripper has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Ripper continues to stall. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Ripper dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Jojo Jr is looking to clinch. Jojo Jr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ripper's waist but Ripper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jojo Jr off to one side. Jojo Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Ripper tries to sprawl out of it but Jojo Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Ripper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Jojo Jr fails in his attempt to clinch. It looked like Ripper was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Ripper shoots in for a takedown but Jojo Jr shows good takedown defense. Ripper is now in Jojo Jr 's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ripper is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ripper looking to pass the guard. Jojo Jr is breathing heavily. Ripper lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ripper slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. More hug and hope from Ripper. Ripper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ripper pivots, looking for a leg kick but Jojo Jr is out of range and Ripper settles back down. Jojo Jr throws the kick towards the body but Ripper avoids it. Jojo Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Ripper sprawls well. He's pushed Jojo Jr 's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Ripper shoots in and gets a takedown into Jojo Jr 's guard. Ripper controlling from the top position. Jojo Jr working a defensive guard here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ripper seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jojo Jr tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ripper is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Ripper lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Ripper postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Ripper wants to pass the guard but Jojo Jr is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ripper engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Ripper scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Ripper is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Jojo Jr will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ripper darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Ripper controlling the pace. Jojo Jr keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Ripper with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Ripper is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Jojo Jr can do to turn this around? Well, if Ripper is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Ripper works his way into full mount! Ripper controlling the pace for now. Jojo Jr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jack Ripper overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ripper lands a big shot there that rocks Jojo Jr but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ripper controlling the position easily from mount. Ripper landing punches. Ripper tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Ripper lands a big elbow. Jojo Jr takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ripper connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ripper avoids the attempt from Jojo Jr to control. Ripper lands a couple of good shots and Jojo Jr has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Ripper is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Jojo Jr . He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. Ripper is working for a rear naked choke. Jojo Jr is not defending it well and Ripper has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Jojo Jr refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Jojo Jr 's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
