Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Marshall (ranked 5111 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ken Barlow (ranked 5107 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Franklin Marshall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Barlow! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A momentary lapse in concentration from Marshall enables Barlow to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Marshall manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Barlow postures up.
Barlow lands a couple of decent looking shots. Barlow working some strikes from top position. Barlow chips away with some ground and pound. Marshall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Marshall tries to get out of the position. Barlow wants to get up but he can't break Marshall's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Barlow is looking to work some ground and pound but Marshall has wrist control. Barlow seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Barlow drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Barlow jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barlow postures up and lands a big shot to Marshall's brow. Barlow controls from within his opponent's guard. Barlow has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's one minute gone in the round. Marshall avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Barlow postures up.
Barlow has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marshall is proving hard to escape from. Marshall tries to strike from the bottom.
Barlow is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Barlow is stalling in the full guard. Barlow's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Marshall keeps the fight on the outside. Barlow throws a leg kick and Marshall decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Barlow's guard. Marshall stopping the sweep attempt from Barlow. Barlow keeping moving, preventing Marshall from controlling successfully. Barlow wants to sweep but no luck. Marshall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barlow on the ground. Barlow looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Marshall is defending well. Barlow quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Marshall has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Barlow celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
