Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clifton Barn (ranked 5664 p4p, 528 weight class) and Juro Fujimoto (ranked 3762 p4p, 418 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Clifton Barn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Juro Fujimoto!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barn scores with a decent looking hook.
Barn lands a jab-cross combination.
Fujimoto throws a head kick but Barn moves out of range.
Barn feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fujimoto's calf.
Fujimoto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Fujimoto's coach down at AdvancedX was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Fujimoto's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Fujimoto doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Barn counters with a three punch combo that has Fujimoto backing up. Fujimoto nods at Barn to acknowledge the strikes.
Fujimoto avoids a punch combination nicely.
Barn displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Fujimoto.
Fujimoto throws a head kick that Barn semi-blocks.

A looping hook to the body misses from Barn. Fujimoto does a little dance to reset his feet.

Barn defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Fujimoto.

Fujimoto tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Barn looks to score with a jab to the body but Fujimoto is just out of range.
Barn throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fujimoto shoots for a double leg takedown but Barn sprawls well. He's pushed Fujimoto's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Barn lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Fujimoto can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Barn and Fujimoto drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Barn.
