0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Alex Williams! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz blocks a head kick by Williams.
Diaz moves into the clinch successfully.
Diaz is working Williams over against the cage. Williams wants to get back to striking at distance but Diaz won't allow it.

Diaz is leaning against Williams and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Diaz lands with a short shot to the head. Diaz lands a shoulder strike. Diaz breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Diaz clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz lands with a short head shot on the inside. Diaz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Diaz scores with a three punch combo!
It looks like Alex Williams has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No luck with that takedown attempt from Williams.

No joy there for Diaz, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Diaz is working Williams over against the cage. Diaz displaying some good clinch control by pressing Williams up against the cage. Williams is trying to push Diaz away but Diaz has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Williams's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Diaz manages to break the clinch.

Williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Diaz swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Diaz moves into the clinch successfully.
Williams misses with a hook from the clinch. Diaz's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Diaz closes the distance and pushes Williams back into the cage. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Diaz keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Williams's efforts to push away. Williams drops down looking for an ankle pick but Diaz pulls his leg out and moves away.
Jon Diaz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Williams. Diaz ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Jon Diaz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Williams shoots in looking for a takedown. Diaz tries to sprawl out of it but Williams keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Diaz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Diaz throws a series of punches but Williams avoids them all with ease. Williams lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Diaz instigates a clinch. A right handed body shot lands from Diaz.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Diaz. A right handed body shot lands from Diaz.
Diaz scores with a shoulder strike. Diaz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Williams backwards. Diaz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Williams fails to land the takedown. Oooooh!!! Diaz has knocked Williams down with a huge combo! Diaz steps away and waves a wobbly Williams back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Williams is rocked! Diaz batters Williams with a massive right followed by a huge left! Williams is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Diaz lands a final crushing right hand to drop Williams to the mat with a gruesome thud! Diaz is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
