0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Codes Berg! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and Dirk Anderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Berg cracks Bailey with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Bailey on the wrong end of a nice hook. Berg tries to close the distance and clinch but Bailey swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bailey shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Bailey in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bailey working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Bailey throwing strikes from guard but Berg blocks nicely. Bailey bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Bailey working the ground and pound. Bailey looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Berg is avoiding damage well.
Berg is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bailey connects with a decent elbow. Berg is looking to regain half guard here but Bailey keeps moving and retains side control. Bailey scores with punches from side control. Bailey grinds an elbow into Berg's temple. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bailey advances nicely into full mount. Bailey connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Berg is rocked! Bailey postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Berg out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Bailey goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
