The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hartmann on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Rodgers lands with a nice body kick.
Rodgers cracks Hartmann with an open hand slap.
Hartmann throws a head kick that misses
and Rodgers cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rodgers avoids the head kick by Hartmann.
Hartmann fakes the leg kick and cracks Rodgers in the body.
Rodgers moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Hartmann looks winded!
Rodgers lands a jab.
Rodgers scores with a nice head shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rodgers cracks Hartmann with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Hartmann looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Rodgers finish him?
Hartmann is rocked!
Hartmann throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rodgers sends Hartmann crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rodgers is motioning to the referee to let Hartmann up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Hartmann is still on wobbly legs! Can Rodgers finish him?
Hartmann wants to slow Rodgers down by chopping away at his legs.
Rodgers feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hartmann sprawling to the canvas! Hartmann rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Rodgers finish him?!
Hartmann fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Rodgers.
Hartmann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rodgers drops Hartmann with a big left hand! Hartmann is injured, injured bad! Rodgers jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Anthony Rodgers!
