0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ronald Django! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Daniel Franklin and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Django throws the left hand but Valdosta avoids the punch easily. An attempted straight right counter from Valdosta misses the target. Django throws a hook but Valdosta avoids it easily. As Django backs away, Valdosta returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Django shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Valdosta defends it nicely. Valdosta stuffs the takedown. Django shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Valdosta tried to counter with a leg kick but Django avoided it. Heliot Valdosta has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronald Django. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
