Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Wesley Poker (ranked 2524 p4p, 329 weight class) and Ken Barlow (ranked 3430 p4p, 422 weight class). The key to victory for Wesley Poker has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Wesley Poker! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ken Barlow! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Barlow closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Barlow is keen to just control but Poker is a slippery customer. Barlow throwing shots but Poker is blocking nicely. Barlow is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Poker sees it coming and defends easily. Barlow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Poker keeps working. Well, if Barlow is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barlow working over Poker with some ground and pound. Poker looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
That's one minute gone in the round. Barlow missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Barlow is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Barlow wants to pass the guard but Poker is defending well. Barlow thows a huge punch but Poker dodges it nicely.
Barlow throwing shots but Poker is blocking nicely. Barlow missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Barlow is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Poker is staying active underneath Barlow, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Poker keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Barlow is controlling the pace.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Poker gets back to full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Poker throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Barlow. Poker connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Barlow covering up! Poker comes in with a big uppercut and Barlow goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Wesley Poker! Post fight, Wesley Poker took to the microphone: 'After this win I think i've proven I'm one of the top fighters in the division, I want the Hax Molloway fight back, and after I redeem that loss, I'm coming for that belt! '.
