Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Loki Mills! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alexandrew Song! The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Jeff Smith and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Song throws a leg kick and Mills counters with a left to the body. Song throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mills sees it coming and avoids it easily. Song throws a hook but Mills blocks it. Song ducks right into an uppercut from Mills. Mills ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Mills ducks under a wild hook from Song. Mills was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Alexandrew Song seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mills tries to clinch there but Song circles away.

Song throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mills lands with a nice combination. Song backs away looking to recover. Mills cracks Song with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Mills ducks down and throws a hook to the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mills gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mills prevents a body shot from Song. Song breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mills uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Song. Song tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Mills smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Mills rushes Song and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mills tries a body shot but Song blocks it.

Song escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Mills feints a jab promting Song to slip. Mills then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Song slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Song rushes Mills and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Mills goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Song misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Mills.
Mills lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Song or not. Mills tries to throw a body punch but Song avoids it by throwing Mills back against the cage. Mills tries to pull guard but Song forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Mills tries to pull guard but Song holds him up against the cage and eventually Mills drops back down to his feet.
Mills keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Song's efforts to push away.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in the clinch, Mills scores with a nice short uppercut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Song doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Mills jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Song walks away with a smile on his face. Mills gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Loki Mills. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Mills looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mills throws a right hand that Song ducks under and follows up with a left that Song also avoids with ease. Song's corner calls for a 1-2. Song obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Mills misses with a body shot.
Song misses with a body kick. It looked like Mills was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Song misses the jab. Mills looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mills rushes Song and presses him up against the cage. Song landing some nice looking knees to the body.

Mills throws a body punch but Song moves out of range. Song lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mills takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Mills is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Mills moves to clinch but Song breaks away letting Song counter with a right hand. Song connects with a leg kick. Mills looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Mills moves out of range as Song throws a body kick.

Mills cracks Song with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Song throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Mills counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mills is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mills gets tackled into the cage by Song. Song maintains the clinch. Mills doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Song misses with a hook to the ribs.
Mills is struggling to control the position. Song wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Mills has him pressed against the cage. Mills gets control of Song's arms and successfully pulls guard. Mills will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Song wants to stand but Mills has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mills is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Mills working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Song doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Mills is tightening it up a little... Song has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Song reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Song taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mills!
