Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wayne Hart (ranked 3649 p4p, 360 weight class) and Thomas Jordan (ranked 5172 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jordan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hart.
Jordan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
As Hart backs off Jordan throws a huge counter combo but Hart manages to avoid it all.
Jordan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hart manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Hart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Hart looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jordan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
