The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slevin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mardin moves away.

Mardin drives through and clinches with Slevin against the cage.

Mardin breaks from the clinch.
Slevin walks into a stiff left hand from Mardin.

It looks like Lucky Slevin has been cut.
Mardin fakes the leg kick and cracks Slevin in the body.
Mardin throws a series of punches but Slevin avoids them all with ease.
Slevin throws a sloppy head kick and Mardin moves out of range easily.
Mardin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Slevin blocks a head kick by Mardin.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Slevin takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Mardin misses with a low kick.
Slevin throws a head kick that misses.
Slevin throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Slevin stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mardin.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Mardin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Mardin tries a quick counter leg kick but Slevin is wise to it.
Mardin scores with a jab to the body.

and Mardin makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Slevin throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Mardin pushes Slevin away with a front kick.
Slevin is breathing heavily.
Mardin digs a good hook to Slevin's body.
Decent striking displayed by Mardin there.
Mardin throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Slevin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mardin throws a head kick but Slevin moves out of range.
Slevin is looking for a counter combo.
Mardin lands with a thumping leg kick.
Slevin needs to keep his hands up - Mardin had a free shot at his head there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Mardin circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Slevin drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Mardin follows Slevin to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
