Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boby Tiger (ranked 5168 p4p, 169 weight class) and Antonio Covid (ranked 3216 p4p, 129 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Covid lands a nice hook to Tiger's body. Tiger takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Tiger gets a takedown into half guard.
Covid is looking to improve his position.

Tiger is working for a submission of some sort.
Covid wants to get back to full guard but Tiger has passed into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Covid tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Tiger presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tiger scores with a couple of good head shots there.

It looks like Antonio Covid has been cut.
Covid tries to hold on but Tiger pushes him away.
Covid tries to reverse the position but Tiger maintains control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Tiger controlling the pace for now.
Covid takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Covid is looking to improve his position but Tiger isn't that keen on the idea.

Covid is just holding on here. Tiger manages to take his back.
Tiger is working the ground and pound. Can Covid escape?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Tiger controlling the position well here. Covid rolled but Tiger kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Tiger has got his arm under Covid 's chin working for the choke… has he got it? It looks pretty tight! Oh! Covid has spun round into Tiger's guard beautifully! Well done that man!
Tiger has control of Covid 's left arm, preventing Covid from doing any damage.

Tiger manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Tiger creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Covid 's defenses.

That has opened up Antonio Covid 's cut even more.

Tiger jumps guard and drags Covid to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Covid throws a big right hand that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Tiger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Covid defends it easily.
Covid trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Tiger has his foot on Covid 's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Covid works his way back into a safe position though.
Tiger wants to sweep but no luck.
Covid trying to control but Tiger is working from the bottom.
Covid might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Tiger haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Covid looking to sit in guard and control but Tiger gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Covid avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Covid looking to improve position, pressing down on Tiger's thigh with his hand. Tiger seems to be working to lock up a guilotine though... is Covid paying attention? Apparently not! He's locked it up tight! Covid 's face has turned purple! Will he tap? Will he! YES! He's tapped! Tiger picked his opening and made it count! Great finish!
